How to get the most out of New Authorities List?
Introduction:
This daily updated list contains information about newly granted trucking authorities from FMCSA. The list is updated every day with the current day’s granted licenses.
How to use this database?
Search fields:
MC Field: Search a full MC number or a partial number
FMCSA: Choose a date when the authority was granted. For example, you might want to look up all authorities that were granted operating status2 days ago, or 3 months ago. (If you don’t see older dates, that means those dates are still being populated into this list)
Company Name: Type in any phrase here
Name of Submitter: Look for the personal name of a submitter
Address: Street name or number
City, ST, Zip: Look for certain cities, states, or zip codes
Phone number: Look for a full or partial phone number or an area code
Fax: Look for a full or partial phone number or an area code
Type: Type of authority. Use a full phrase or one word. Ex. Broker, Interstate, Common, Contract, etc.
The List:
The newest authorities are always listed on top. You can click on each column title or arrow to sort them out by numbers or alphabet. Click on “details” on the far right side to get all the details for that authority in a separate view. You can download a PDF document for that selection
Note: While the authority date might show an older date, these dates are the most current ones. The FMCSA will usually put out a list with an authority list that contains the dates granted from 2-4 days ago. That will reflect on this list.
