Who and Why?

The year was 2001 and I was only 21 when I came to the USA as a refugee from Bosnia. After getting my first job at a lumberyard, my boss suggested I take the CDL-B test and they would cover all the expenses. Naturally, I accepted and received my CDL-A, a few years later in 2006. After being a company driver, an owner-operator, and a dispatcher for a few months, in 2014 I decided to form my own trucking authority, together with a business partner. After 6 1/2 years of successful operations, we split up, and in late 2020, my new company was born. In these 17 years, I drove semi-trucks, booked loads, and handled all day-to-day operations of my small company.
